Theft Claims

Demand Compensation from Theft

If you have been the victim of theft, you may think that you are going to have to come up with the money to replace all your belongings. If you have homeowner’s insurance, however, that should not be the case. Homeowners insurance policies almost always cover theft that takes place in your home, which may include items taken out of your vehicle too.

If someone has broken into your home, business, or vehicle and stolen enough goods or caused enough damage, do make it worth it to file a claim, you want to make sure you get compensated for the full loss. What your policy does and doesn’t cover will be laid out in the terms, conditions, and exclusions section of the policy, so it is a good idea to become familiar with what it says.

Of course, this section of the policy is going to be written in very technical (and confusing) language. If you think that your insurance company is attempting to deny your claim or offer far less than you are entitled to, you need to contact us. We will review your policy, go over the police report, and then work on your behalf against the insurance company to ensure you get every dime you have coming to you. Time is of the essence in these types of cases, so please don’t delay.
